Well it's my second week at my new job and I really am enjoying it. The residents are getting more comfortable with me and vice versa and I'm learning new things everyday. Today I went on my first Wednesday Outing and it was a fun experience. We decided to go to Mimi's Cafe (a favorite of mine) and then off to do some shopping at the Janss Marketplace. We had 7 residents to sign up and 2 of the ladies, Dolores and Jean Bean, were just a "bit" forgetful. When we went shopping, Dolores kept whispering to me that she needed to buy wrinkle cream but she didn't want anyone to know she was buying it. Haha! I felt like she was 12 years old and buying tampons for the first time, because she was soo embarrassed. We both laughed about it though and I promised her that I wouldn't tell anyone about her secret purchase. We then went shopping for clothes and one of the ladies "Jean Bean" (that's her real name) said she wanted to buy a "sexy" top. We looked at quite a few tops, but she couldn't decide because either they made her look "pregnant" or the cloth was too "heavy". All in all, it was definitely a fun day hanging out with my "ladies".
